Rodeo and Fair...FUN! FUN! FUN!

I took Cambry, Cutter, and Chesley to the fair and rodeo this last weekend and we had a blast! We started off with the traditional fair food...curly potatoes, corn dogs, cheese on a stick, roasted corn, and nachos. YUMMY! Then we went to the rodeo, where we saw some close calls in the bull riding! We played a few games and walked around for a while, before eating some cotton candy and heading to the house. All of the kids had games on Saturday & Sunday, so it was a busy weekend, but soooo much fun! Thanks to Aunt Jerilynn and Nana for keeping Campbell so the "big kids" could have some fun with Aunt Jill!

7 Months Old

Campbell turned 7 months old on Friday, September 25th. He is learning so many new things! He can play "patty cake", feed himself a few finger foods, and Nana taught him to dance! He smiles and laughs all of the time and he keeps his Mommy and Daddy amused daily. He is such good baby...sleeps all night most nights, eats like a champ, and is so good to take to Chesley, Cambry, and Cutter's sporting events! The one thing he does not do all that well is nap. We call them "power naps" because 20-30 minutes of napping is all he needs and he is ready to go! Of course he will make a liar out of me, as he has been asleep for almost an hour now! LOL!!!
He is scooting and rolling all over the place...not crawling yet, but close!

Campbell and Sampson

Campbell is sitting up on his own now! I am not sure who is happier, Campbell or Sampson. He often sits beside him, so Campbell can pet him and play with his tail and ears. Sampson also likes to get a few kisses here and there!

6 Months!

I can't believe he is already 6 months old! Actually, he is 6 months and one week today. (Been a tad bit busy.) He laughs, plays, smiles...all of the wonderful things that babies bless us with. He is almost sitting independently, and will be crawling soon, I'm sure. He is constantly learning something new every day. Lately, we laugh at his "coughing" episodes. He coughed for real once and he thinks it is a great noise! He brings us such joy each and every day and we are thankful to our Precious Lord for letting us be his parents
AND
A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY! to my wonderful husband, Kameron today. We will be celebrating with his family this weekend, so I will post pics next week.

A Special Visit to Granbury

Campbell and I took a little trip to Nana and Papaw's house in Granbury for a week and had a blast. Actually, Campbell went home with Nana and then I came on Thursday. He spent his first night ever away from Mommy and Daddy and did great! (I was prepared to ditch Kameron on our night out if I needed to, but Nana and Papaw said he was an angel.) Jeremy flew in on Thursday to spend the week with us. We had a great visit and I know he enjoyed seeing everyone.

Uncle Jeremy rocked Campbell to sleep his first night there.

Campbell chilling out in the swing at the lake...it was super hot!

Mom and Jeremy enjoying the lake.

Uncle Jeremy helps Campbell eat a popsicle while he plays in the water.

Mommy and Campbell getting ready for a boat ride.

Campbell was excited to finally get to go on the boat.

Just enjoying the boat ride...

So much he fell asleep in Nana's arms!

Papaw...the happy boat driver.

Ruidoso Vacation

We just got back from a vacation in Ruidoso last week and had so much fun. We met Kameron's family and stayed a week in a beautiful cabin in the mountains. The weather was wonderful. We ate, shopped, rode go-carts, fished, ate some more, relaxed, went to the horse races, rode four wheelers, and then...you guessed it...ate some more! It was a fun filled week that passed too fast. Thanks to Gentrye for taking such great care of our home and animals while we were gone.
