Surprise Baby Shower

For those of you who do not know, my precious boss, Vicki, is also pregnant! She is due about 12 days before I am. Our fabulous coworkers threw us a surprise baby shower after one of our meetings in January. We got so many cute baby gifts and ate some super yummy cake. I am so blessed to work with such a great group of staff! They truly are my "other" family and make my job so much fun. The Nursery Is Finally Done!
Ultrasound Pictures

Here are a few pics from the last ultrasound. Let me tell you...these are much less "alienish" than the last 3-D pics! I think the earlier ones scared Kameron a little! There was certainly a look of relief when these showed up on the screen. We think he definitely has his Daddy's feet, judging from these...and from the kicks to my ribs! Baby Shower
OK...here goes! I had an official blogging lesson for a couple of hours at my sister's house today. I'm going to give it a try! I just want to be able to share our lives with all of my friends and family and this seems to be the coolest way to accomplish that. We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our son Campbell soon and will want to share him with everyone!
So, I am starting with a borrowed post from Jerilynn's blog and will hopefully be blogging with the best of them soon!

Well - a great time was had by all. It was truly a wonderful shower and such a blessing! We had a great turn out and received so many precious things. Mom said that we'll have to change Campbell twice a day to use all of the outfits! I just have to thank all of my wonderful hostesses again for this fabulous celebration!
The theme was a mix of country farm animals and the colors were muted shades of brown, cranberry red, and buttery yellow. They were unusual colors for a baby shower, but it had a unique and comfy feel. The menu included: fresh fruit, the most delicious sandwiches (ever!), sausage balls, cheese/cracker tray, and super delish cake from Cakes and More.
