3 Months Old

Campbell hit the 3 month mark yesterday! He continues to grow like crazy and keeps us on our toes! He is laughing and cooing more and more every day. He still loves to play under his floor gym and now he likes to watch the Noggin channel in his awesome Sweet Peace swing. Hopefully I will get some video to post soon!
Love to all!!!!

Back To Work

Well, the time has come for Mommy to go back to work! Only part time though, thank goodness. It was great to see all of my friends at work and get my nursing groove going again. Campbell had fun with Daddy, Nana and Lulu while I was at work, but he sure was glad to see his Mommy when I got home that night! I received a beautiful vase of flowers and several emails and pictures from Campbell throughout the day (via Nana). I was sad to be away from him, but I managed to make it through the day without crying! Thank you Mom for keeping my sweet baby boy on my first days back at work and for the wonderful dinner waiting for me when I got home. Thank you Lulu for helping! And a big shout out to Papaw for being so understanding when it comes to letting Nana come see us so much!

LOL @ Mommy!

Campbell woke up in a very talkative, laughy mood today. I happened to catch some of it on video. Sorry the picture is not great, but the sound makes up for it! He makes me smile...a lot!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful mothers in my life! Each and every mother has blessed our lives in so many different ways. I loved my first Mother's Day and have waited a long time to be able to join the Mommy Club. It is the most wonderful experience so far, and I just hope that I can be as wonderful a mother to my children as my Mom has been to me.
I found this poem that I thought was really sweet and describes how I feel about my precious mother:

My Mother's Heart
by Jill Lemming

My mother's heart is so tender
and her face has a gentle glow.
She's my friend and my inspiration,
she's the sweetest mom I know.
She gives herself so freely
to those who share her life.
She clearly loves her children
with the love that comes from Christ.
Her eyes are full of compassion
her voice is soft and mild.
She lives for helping others,
leaving "heartprints" all the while.
My mother's love is special
and grows sweeter with every year.
God blessed me with an angel;
she's my precious mother, dear.

I love you with all of my heart, Mom. Thanks for making the trip to spend Mother's Day here. We miss you already and we can't wait to see you again in a few days!

Fun On The Floor

Well, I FINALLY caught Campbell playing and talking under his Baby Einstein floor gym. He absolutely loves it! Mommy also loves it...I can usually get a shower or get some laundry and ironing done while he plays...yeah!

Little Farmer

Campbell was all decked out in his John Deere outfit yesterday. Lulu and Papa Check bought it for him and he looked so adorable. We went to lunch with Vicki and did some errands in town. Everyone that saw him in his John Deere Green thought he looked so cute. I finally caught a smile on camera after we got home!

Cutter's Baseball Game

Nanny, Campbell and I went to Cutter's baseball game yesterday in Canyon. We stopped at Sonic and got some ice cream, then went to watch Cutter. He did super and was an awesome catcher. They won their game and we all had a great time watching them play!
