Snow Fun!

What a beautiful winter day here in Amarillo! We got about 12 inches of snow at our house on Thursday and it was finally pretty enough today to get out a build a "snowmini". Campbell wasn't quite sure what to think, other than "My hiney is unusually cold, Mom!" We got out long enough for a few pictures though!

11 Months Old Today

Our precious little angel turned 11 months old today...hard to believe! It seems like only yesterday, we were preparing his arrival, anticipating parenthood. We could not have imagined it would be so wonderful. We are so blessed by his presence in our lives. He makes us laugh all of the time with his antics...he is quite the showman! He is walking with the assistance of his push toy, crawling 90 miles an hour, pulling up on everything, and is presently cutting two more teeth (#9 & # 10). He has graduated to table food and still has a very healthy appetite! He weighs 24.5 pounds. He can do Tarzan, an Indian, a fish, and snaps (sort of). He can give a high 5 and he loves to dance and kiss! We are working on blowing kisses now. He learns very quickly and constantly amazes us at the things he picks up on. He makes us smile...a lot!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! OK, so I'm a little behind, but it has been a busy New Year already. We started our holiday season early, celebrating Christmas with Kameron's family in Arlington the first of December. We had a wonderful time and Campbell received lots of great new toys and some cute outfits. I apologize for the lack of pictures, but I forgot my camera at home. We celebrated Christmas Eve in Wildorado, then Christmas Day at home and at Lulu and Papa Check's house. What a wonderful first Christmas Campbell had. He is set for a while with new toys and clothes! We hope all of you have a blessed New Year! We are looking forward to 2010, a year full of excitement and "firsts"!
Love to all,
Kameron, Jill & Campbell

10 Months

Campbell turned 10 months old on Christmas Day...and as usual, I am late posting it! It was crazy busy during the holidays! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and am wishing you all a Blessed New Year!

Campbell is just the most perfect little boy! He continues to grow like a little weed. He is crawling all over the place, starting to pull up on furniture, and mimics us (and the dogs). He cracks us up all of the time. He loves to eat (thank goodness we are almost rid of the last of the baby food). He really loves oatmeal and fruit, all kinds of veggies, and is starting to acquire a taste for some beef and chicken. He likes nuggets from Chic-fil-a, but then again, who doesn't? Aunt Jerilynn and Daddy continue to keep him when Mommy is at work, which has been a bit more than usual this month. Hopefully, things will slow down in the next few weeks and we can all take a breath! I hope to be posting some Christmas pics very soon...
Love to all,
The Walkers

9 (and 1/2) Months!

Since I missed his official 9 month picture, we took this one and it will have to suffice for this month! I intended to post his 9 month picture, but it happened to be on the day we left and Mommy forgot!
Campbell is busy, busy, busy!!! He is presently cutting tooth # 8, is crawling all over the place, and can go from tummy to sitting up by himself. He loves to play with his toys and with his favorite puppy dog, Sampson. We are looking forward to Christmas...it is such a wonderful time of the year, even more so when you have a sweet baby to share it with! We are looking forward celebrating the birth of our Saviour, to memories made with our families, and to wonderful goodies!!! I promise to be better about blogging this month and in the future!

Back From The Blogging Black Hole...

Hello...hello....hello!
Well, what can I say? I am sorry to say that it has been soooo incredibly busy the last month that blogging has taken second fiddle to everything else. Campbell and Kameron are wonderful. We celebrated a wonderful Thanksgiving at Mom and Dad's, then at the Webb's (Victoria's parents). We finished our weekend at Kaye and Wayne's house and Kameron left on Sunday. I stayed the next week with Mom and Dad, then Kameron drove in from Amarillo and we spent last weekend at Kaye and Wayne's. Kevin, Victoria, Kameron, me and all the kids went to the Galleria on Saturday. We watched Santa on the ice skating rink and did some Christmas shopping. I had an unfortunate iphone incident...left it on the running board of the Tahoe...so my Christmas present from Kameron was a new iphone! We celebrated an early Christmas with Kameron's family on Saturday night. Kaye cooked yummy beef tenderloin and we had a wonderful time! Wayne was working offshore on a drilling rig and we missed him terribly. Campbell got some great new toys and cute outfits for Christmas. It was a fun 2 weeks, but we were happy to get back home. Thanks to our families for a great time! I forgot my camera...so I will have to post pictures later.

My sweet little pumpkin! Please see Over The Hedge blog for great Thanksgiving pics!
