Baby Shower

OK...here goes! I had an official blogging lesson for a couple of hours at my sister's house today. I'm going to give it a try! I just want to be able to share our lives with all of my friends and family and this seems to be the coolest way to accomplish that. We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our son Campbell soon and will want to share him with everyone!
So, I am starting with a borrowed post from Jerilynn's blog and will hopefully be blogging with the best of them soon!

Well - a great time was had by all. It was truly a wonderful shower and such a blessing! We had a great turn out and received so many precious things. Mom said that we'll have to change Campbell twice a day to use all of the outfits! I just have to thank all of my wonderful hostesses again for this fabulous celebration!

The theme was a mix of country farm animals and the colors were muted shades of brown, cranberry red, and buttery yellow. They were unusual colors for a baby shower, but it had a unique and comfy feel. The menu included: fresh fruit, the most delicious sandwiches (ever!), sausage balls, cheese/cracker tray, and super delish cake from Cakes and More.

  1. Yeah!!! Finally, I've been checking your blog everyday waiting. Can't wait to see pics of your nursery. Jerilynn has told me about it. Sorry I missed your shower, I have a gift that I'll bring to Jerilynn this weekend. I haven't seen them in weeks! Can't wait to follow your blog too.
