Back To Work

Well, the time has come for Mommy to go back to work! Only part time though, thank goodness. It was great to see all of my friends at work and get my nursing groove going again. Campbell had fun with Daddy, Nana and Lulu while I was at work, but he sure was glad to see his Mommy when I got home that night! I received a beautiful vase of flowers and several emails and pictures from Campbell throughout the day (via Nana). I was sad to be away from him, but I managed to make it through the day without crying! Thank you Mom for keeping my sweet baby boy on my first days back at work and for the wonderful dinner waiting for me when I got home. Thank you Lulu for helping! And a big shout out to Papaw for being so understanding when it comes to letting Nana come see us so much!

  1. Glad to hear it wasn't too traumatic for you - you handled it like a champ. I knew you would. Having Mom around makes everything a little easier. I am so glad she could be here for you.

  2. Aww always a sad day to return to work. At least you are only working part time, that will make it a little easier for you and Campbell. He is just a little cutie pie.

  5. Hi fellow nurse! Glad things are going well with transitioning back to work. That was a hard day for me--I did not cry, but I remember saying to myself ALL DAY long, "No one loves my baby like I do." But the daycare workers were sweet. I would have never regretted returning to work if my girls were in the care of family. That is such a relief, girl!
    HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I always had my tape on my stethoscope, too! ;)
