My New Love

I asked for Williams-Sonoma gift cards for Christmas in order to be able to purchase the mother of all slow cookers...and it has been soooo worth it! I love, love, love it! Thanks everyone and thank you Dad, for going to get it for me and to Mom, for bringing it to me! I have cooked several meals in it and it is so fabulous. It's big, it cooks even and thoroughly, its shiny, and the greatest thing about my All Clad Slow Cooker is that you can transfer from stove to oven to slow cooker, back to stove, back to oven...just whatever your little heart desires! I just browned my stew meat and onion right on the stove, then put all of the other ingredients in and put the insert into the cooker...AWESOME! And, one last thing, it is very deep, so it doesn't make a greasy mess when browning your meat on the stove. I'm all for less messy! Did I mention that I LOVE it?
